Imperial topaz is the highest grade of topaz and is more rare than the widely known smokey brown shades. Imperial topaz is naturally peach, unlike the color treated blue and pink topaz that are most commonly known. Many people who are born in November don't know how lucky they are to have topaz as their birthstone because they have never seen the imperial peach!
